From here it is an approximate 5km walk to the vlei where you are free to explore.  Stunning photographic opportunities are available in the dunes. You depart Sossusvlei and arrive back at your lodge at around 10am and prepare a scrumptious brunch. In the late afternoon you are free to take a walk to the nearby Sesriem Canyon - and return to the lodge before dark. There is a small swimming pool at Betesda if you wish to relax and soak in the sun. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner on day 5 - Breakfast & Lunch on day 6. Lodge Accommodation (Betesda Rest Camp).

Days 7 & 8: Swakopmund, Namibia

Two nights in simple hotel accommodation at Swakopmund. A delightful Bavarian-style town, situated snugly between sea and desert. Great beaches, deep-sea fishing, quad biking, dune boarding, flights over the desert, plus an array of shops, bars and restaurants await you. In Swakopmund you are free to explore at your leisure or partake in the many optional activities. This is also a chance to catch up on laundry, banks and communications. All meals except breakfast are to your own account in Swakopmund. Hotel Accommodation (Hotel Grunen Kranz)

Days 9 & 10: Etosha National Park

Leaving Swakopmund you journey via the awesome granite moonscape scenery that Namibia is so famous for. The mountains and granite mounds provided a home to the San people for thousands of years. You will arrive at the world famous Etosha National Park, ready for your big game safari experience. Dominated by shimmering white saltpans you have a chance to see Elephant as well as Black Rhino, Lion and Leopard. All camps have floodlit water holes, which are excellent for after dinner game viewing, as well as swimming pools for cooling off during the heat of the day. You will enjoy 3 game drives whilst at Etosha.

Typically you will make an early start, which is ideal for morning game viewing, and drive to some of the waterholes in the park before heading back to the rest camp for brunch. Approximately 3 hours per game drive. In the afternoons you will take another game drive and return back to the rest camp before dark for dinner. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on day 9 - Breakfast & Lunch on day 10. Dinner for client's own account at the Rest Camp restaurant.  Lodge Accommodation (Okaukuejo Rest Camp - Etosha National Park) or Similar
