Navigate the winding streams and isolated lagoons of the Okavango Delta. Sit back and relax as your guide gently poles your 'makoro' through these clear waters. Get up close and personal with some of the most exciting creatures on earth. Join the adrenaline junkies at Victoria Falls.
Be insane for a day as you jump off bridges or boogie board head-first down the immense rapid runs of the Zambezi. Sit tight as you witness the Falls from a micro-light aircraft or take it easy on an upper Zambezi River cruise and watch the African bush go gently on by.
Day 1: Cape Town, South Africa
Day at leisure in Cape Town to enjoy the many optional attractions and activities available in this magnificent city. Optional activities include tours to Robben Island, Cape Point Nature Reserve and Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the many wine estates of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Day 2: Lamberts Bay, South Africa
Departing after breakfast, you head up the West Coast past the West Coast National Park to Lamberts Bay, an attractive fishing town on an unspoilt stretch of coastline. Particularly spectacular in spring, when the masses of wild flowers bloom, turning the entire region into a yellow, red and orange maze. Breakfast. Hotel Accommodation (Lamberts Bay Hotel)
Days 3 & 4: The Fish River Canyon, Namibia
The first border crossing is into Namibia on day 3 as you head for the awesome Fish River Canyon. Your guides will assist with all border formalities. You spend the night at Ai Ais Hot Springs Resort, which is run by Namibia Wildlife Resorts. There is a restaurant, small shop which only stocks basics and a swimming pool for relaxation. There will be ample time to take in beautiful sights of the canyon, or partake in an optional walk. Breakfast & Lunch. Lodge Accommodation (Ai Ais Hot Springs Resort)
Days 5 & 6: The Namib Naukluft National Park, Namibia
You continue on to The Namib Naukluft National Park and the giant sand dunes of Sossusvlei. This is one of the world's oldest deserts, offering over 130 million years of natural wonder, and the highest sand dunes in the world! Climb the dunes for an unforgettable sunrise. Adventure activities abound, including guided walks, hot air ballooning and light aircraft flights. On day 6 you leave very early in the morning into the park - departure time at around 5am. You head for Dune 45 and climb the dune in time to catch the sunrise over the dunes, after which you proceed on to Sossusvlei and the 2x4 parking area.
