Day 1: Swakopmund, Namibia
Founded in 1892 during the German colonial rule, the distinct colonial character has been well preserved. Swakopmund has several excellent restaurants, bars, coffee shops as well as many arts and crafts shops selling Namibian rural art. Days 2 & 3: Damaraland, Namibia
Your safari in Namibia continues to the north of Namibia where Damaraland people and many rock art galleries awaits your exploration. The next 2 days will be spent meeting the people of Damaraland, admiring the natural rock art galleries and searching for the elusive desert Elephant of this region. Days 4-6: Etosha National Park, Namibia
Etosha National Park is the largest wildlife park in Namibia and offers a wide variety of game viewing and game driving opportunities. This is an educational visit where most of your time will be spent on game drives and admiring and learning about the wildlife of Namibia and Etosha National Park. Day 7: Etosha - Bushmanland
You depart to Bushmanland for an overnight visit at a traditional Bushman village on day 7 of your safari in Namibia. This is indeed a memorable and culturally rich experience. Days 8-10: Okavango Delta, Botswana
Your safari in Botswana trail leads to the Okavango River. The waterways of the delta are full of wildlife and natural beauty. Your trail will lead to the dugout canoes of the local Barakwena and Hambakushu of this area. The next few days you are on foot, in a dug out canoe along with a houseboat experience to explore the many waterways and eco systems of the Okavango. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Day 11: Maun, Botswana
The most southern tip of the Okavango Delta will be your re-supply before you enter the game reserves on safari in Botswana for the next few days. You make your final preparations for the safari and have the opportunity to take a scenic flight over the Okavango and its many waterways. Breakfast and lunch included. Tented Camp Accommodation.
Days 12 & 13: Moremi, Botswana
Moremi Game Reserve is one of the best reserves in Africa. The natural beauty and abundance of wildlife, bird life, insects, reptiles and flora will astonish you. A tented camp will be made for 2 days and safari drives and game viewing will be done in and around the areas of your base camp. Days 14 & 15: Savuti, Botswana
The Chobe National Park is one of the larger wildlife areas in southern Africa. The scenic drive from Moremi to Savuti camp will take you through more Kalahari vegetation along the Kwai River and sand ridges. The 4x4 roads make this day an adventure in itself and will be a full day travelling and admiring the Chobe National Park. Your base camp will be in the Savuti for the next 2 days in search of the well-known Savuti Lion. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included on this safari in Botswana. Tented Camp Accommodation.
Day 16: Chobe / Kasane, Botswana
Your safari takes you to the border of Botswana and where 4 countries meet. The Chobe Floodplains at Kasane allows for an excellent boat trip and will bring a relief after leaving the dry Savuti channel behind. Your stay in Kasane will be at the Chobe Safari Lodge where you can enjoy one of the best sundowners of your safari in Botswana. Breakfast and lunch included. Lodge Accommodation.
Days 17 & 18: Livingstone, Zambia
Finally you follow the footsteps of David Livingstone to Zambia. Your visit to the Victoria Falls and the memorable Zambezi River will add a value of respect and admiration to your safari trail. The next 2 days of your safari in Botswana is spent relaxing, visiting local markets and prepare for final arrangements for your long departure home.
Your safari in Botswana will end on arrival in Livingstone; however the guides will overnight one day, before departing on the next journey.
